Hello! This is an old photo from four years ago, when we caught the ferry to the South Island and visited Kaikoura. (This was before the big earthquake, and I remember all the little fishermens’ cottages around the coast, and how lovely the town itself was.)

This is a bit how I feel at the moment; the world feels very big right now, and the horizon is stretching out before me. Taking the step to dip my toe into publishing waters is a big deal, and I’m nervous and excited.

Over the coming weeks and months I’ll be updating this site with writing progress and news, but the “regular, everyday” blogging will still continue at discombobulated.co.nz. Or if you’d like me to come to you, I’m sending a once-or-twice a month newsletter, which you can sign up for here.
